Call me sappy for admitting this.
Every day, for as long as I can remember, I have picked my wife a flower.
Sometimes they come from the garden, some when I got off from work, some (don’t tell!) I picked from my neighbors house. I did it once and she nearly cried so I figured it was a good thing to keep up. I like to see her happy I guess.
I keep a little vase that I bought years ago on the fridge. My wife loves to cook and spends a lot of time in the kitchen making me delicious meals and she also loves “little tiny things” (her words) so the small vase on the fridge is her favorite magnet.
The vase shown above is a neat one I came across from WoodsEdgeJewelry on Etsy. They have a couple different ones on their site, made out of antique sliver ware. They hold water, too, so you can pick your wife a flower every day, plop it in there and watch her smile.
